Traveling exhibition

Whether in Ulm Minster, Winnenden Town Hall, the district administration office of the Schwarzwald-Baar district, the Baden-Württemberg state representation in Berlin, or the Riedlingen district savings bank, the mobile exhibitions make the topic of “euthanasia” crimes accessible to a group of people who might not otherwise visit the memorial.

Local history societies and municipal archives often focus on local connections by researching victims’ biographies or examining the role of local psychiatric clinics during the Nazi era. They present their research findings to a broad public through their own exhibition elements or accompanying programs. At schools, students developed tour concepts to guide their classmates through the exhibition.

A representative from the memorial will accompany the exhibition opening with a lecture. Two different exhibition formats are available for loan for a rental fee:

  1. 22-panel exhibition History and Memory: the exhibition documents the “euthanasia” crimes of 1940 and how they have been dealt with in the post-war period up to the present day.
  2. 9-panel exhibition History: the exhibition documents the historical events and background of the “euthanasia” crimes of 1940.

Both exhibitions consist of freely positionable roll-ups with metal bases. Transport and setup are easy.
